The Day’s Delight: Laundry

Not only did meet some ladies on the beach (beverages in tow, many, many topics on the table, we, beach blanket), but I also did my laundry and folded All My Clothes.

Neither were an obligation; northern were a good idea that never got any lift: the laundry was done with satisfaction throughout. The ladies weren’t distractions from myself but a deeper connection to it.

Maybe the cleaning and the folding happened metaphorically as well: laying out a story, a belief, a ploy point about myself; shaking it smooth, seeing if it still fits (in all the ways), and not asking my girlfriends, “what do you think?,” but saying “I think. I wonder. I know.”
